                                                           BISMARCK MUNICIPAL PARKING AUTHORITY 

                                                                               MEETING MINUTES

                                                                                     APRIL 8, 2021

The Bismarck Municipal Parking Authority met in regular session on the above date at 9:00 A.M. in the Tom Baker Room

and via zoom, Bismarck, North Dakota. Chairman Jim Christianson presided.

 

                                    Members present: Jim Christianson, Todd Kovash, Brian Peterson,  Jake Axtman and Kyle Holwagner

 

                                    Members absent: None

 

                                    Staff Members: Jeremy Petron, Sue Schaff, Dennis Torgerson, Corey Voegele, Daniel Nairn

 

Others present: Kate Herzog via zoom and others that may have been online.

 

 

MINUTES

 

Chairman Jim Christianson called for consideration of the minutes of the March 11, 2021 meeting.

 

     MOTION: A motion was made by Brian Peterson, seconded by Kyle Holwagner and unanimously approved

                       by all members present that the minutes the March 11, 2021 meeting be approved.

 

REVIEW OF FINANCIAL STATEMENTS

 

     MOTION: A motion was made by Todd Kovash, seconded by Brian Peterson with a roll call vote, Brian-aye,

                       Kyle-aye, Jake-aye, Todd-aye, and Jim-aye to approve the March financials.

 

 

STATUS UPDATE FOR PRELIMINARY BID ON PARKADE GREEN LEVEL REPAIRS

 

Jeremy Petron reported that the proposal from Vector Construction was $324,288. Consensus of the Board was

to have management get more information before advertising the project out for RFP. Tabled until the next meeting.

 

TIMELINE FOR NEW GATES EQUIPMENT UPGRADES INSTALLATION

 

Jeremy Petron reported that the gates and equipment have been ordered and will be installed in June 2021.

 

OTHER BUSINESS

 

     MOTION: A motion was made by Brian Peterson, seconded by Kyle Holwagner with a roll call vote, Brian-aye,

                       Kyle-aye, Jake-aye, Todd-aye and Jim-aye to approve the bids from Quality Asphalt for repairs on the

                       5^th & Thayer lot as well as the BNC Lot at 3^rd & Main. The total of the 2 repairs is $7678.00.

 

 

ADJOURNMENT

There being no further business, Chairman Jim Christianson declared the Bismarck Municipal Parking Authority adjourned at 9:30 A.M. and will meet again in regular session May 13, 2021.
