BISMARCK MUNICIPAL PARKING AUTHORITY

MEETING MINUTES

JANUARY 13, 2022

 

 

The Bismarck Municipal Parking Authority met in regular session on the above date at 9:00

A.M. in the Tom Baker Room, Bismarck, North Dakota. Chairman Jim Christianson presiding.

 

     Members present: Jim Christianson, Brian Peterson, Jake Axtman, Kyle Holwagner.,

                                  Todd Kovash

     Members absent: None

      Staff Members: Jeremy Petron, Sue Schaff, Dennis Torgerson, Corey Voegele and

                             Daniel Nairn

     Others present: Jannelle Combs, Kate Herzog and Kaitlyn Leingang

 

MINUTES

Chairman Jim Christianson called for consideration of the minutes of the December 9,

2021 meeting.

     MOTION: A motion was made by Brian Peterson, seconded by Kyle Holwagner

                 and unanimously approved by all members present that the minutes

                 of the December 9, 2021 meeting be approved.

 

REVIEW OF FINANCIAL STATEMENTS

     MOTION: A motion was made by Todd Kovash, seconded by Jake Axtman with

                  a roll call vote, Brian-aye, Kyle-aye, Todd-aye, Jake-aye and

                  Jim-aye to approve the December financials.

 

REVIEW 2022 BUDGET

     MOTION: A motion was made by Brian Peterson, seconded by Todd Kovash

                  with a roll call vote, Brian-aye, Kyle-aye, Todd-aye, Jake-aye and

                  Jim-aye to approve the 2022 Budget.

 

General Discussion was held about future capital improvements.

 

OTHER BUSINESS

NEW PARKING RAMP DISCUSSION

General Discussion was held on new parking ramps.

     MOTION: A motion was made by Jake Axtman, seconded by Brian Peterson

                      with a roll call vote, Brian-aye, Kyle-aye, Todd-aye, Jake-aye and

                      Jim-aye to request the City to get City Commission approval to go

          out for an RFP on the 5th & Thayer lot for potential development.

 

NEW TERM EXPIRATIONS

Daniel Nairn reported that the Bismarck City Commission did approve moving

all Board members terms expirations to December of each year.

 

ADJOURNMENT

There being no further business, Chairman Jim Christianson declared the Bismarck

Municipal Parking Authority adjourned at 9:27 A.M. and will meet again on

February 10, 2022.
