BISMARCK MUNICIPAL PARKING AUTHORITY

MEETING MINUTES

JANUARY 19, 2017

 

The Bismarck Municipal Parking Authority met in regular session on the above date at                                                                                                                 9:00 A.M. in the David J Blackstead meeting room in the City-County Building, 221 N 5th St.,                                                                                                        Bismarck, North Dakota. Chairman Jim Christianson presided.

 

Members present: Jim Christianson, Brian Peterson, Dina Baird

                           and Russ Kadlec

Members absent: Claire Anne Holmberg

 

Staff Members: Rocky Gordon, Sue Schaff, Kyle Snyder

                       Daniel Nairm, Will Hutchings

 

Others present: Kate Herzog, Madison Cermak, Commissioner

                        Shawn Oban, Katie Johnke and Kyah Loeks

MINUTES

Chairman Jim Christianson called for consideration of the minutes of the December 8, 2016

meeting.

 

MOTION A motion was made by Russ Kadlec, seconded by Brian Peterson

              and unanimously approved by all members present that the minutes

              of the December 8, 2016 meeting be approved.

 

REVIEW OF FINANCIAL STATEMENTS

MOTION: A motion was made by Brian Peterson, seconded by Russ Kadlec

              a roll call vote, Russ-aye, Dina-aye, Brian-aye, and Jim-aye to

              approve the December financial statement.

 

REVIEW PARKING RATES

MOTION: A motion was made by Brian Peterson, seconded by Russ Kadlec

              with a roll call vote, Russ-aye, Dina-aye, Brian-aye and Jim-aye

              to review rates in November 2017.

　

APPEARANCE BY BEAT GROUP ON BICYCLE PARKING

MOTION: A motion was made by Dina Baird, seconded by Brian Peterson

             with a roll call vote, Russ-aye, Dina-aye, Brian-aye and Russ-aye

             to approve funding not to exceed $2000 subject to approval by

             CW Structural on the installation.

　

DISCUSSION ON WORK PICKUP

MOTION A motion was made by Brian Peterson, seconded by Russ Kadlec

            with a roll call vote, Russ-aye, Dina-aye, Brian-aye and Russ-aye

            to approve the purchase of a used pickup with an allowance up to

           $25,000.

ADJOURNMENT

There being no further business, Chairman Jim Christianson declared the Bismarck Municipal                                                                                                    Parking Authority adjourned at 9:48 A.M. and will meet again in regular session February 9,                                                                                                           2017.
