BISMARCK MUNICIPAL PARKING AUTHORITY

MEETING MINUTES

SEPTEMBER 14, 2017

 

The Bismarck Municipal Parking Authority met in regular session on the above date at                                                                                                  9:00 A.M. in the David J Blackstead meeting room in the City-County Building, 221 N 5th St.,                                                                            Bismarck, North Dakota. Chairman Jim Christianson presided.

 

Members present: Jim Christianson, Dina Baird and Russ Kadlec.

 

Members absent: Brian Peterson, Claire Anne Holmberg

 

Staff Members: Rocky Gordon, Sue Schaff, Dennis Torgerson,

                          Kyle Snyder, Will Hutchings, Daniel Nairn

 

Others present: Madison Cermak and Commissioner Shawn Oban

 

MINUTES

Chairman Jim Christianson called for consideration of the minutes of the August 10, 2017

meeting.

 

MOTION A motion was made by Dina Baird, seconded by Russ Kadlec

                 and unanimously approved by all members present that the minutes

                 of the August 10, 2017 meeting be approved.

　

REVIEW OF FINANCIAL STATEMENTS

 

MOTION: A motion was made by Dina Baird, seconded by Russ Kadlec

                 with a roll call vote, Russ-aye, Dina-aye and Jim-aye to approve

                 the August financial statement.

　

FINAL REPORT ON PARKADE REPAIRS

Rocky Gordon reported that the Parkade repairs are complete by Vector Construction. C W                                                                             Structural has done their final inspection and recommends payment.

 

OTHER BUSINESS

 

PAY REQUEST

 

MOTION: A motion was made by Dina Baird, seconded by Russ Kadlec

                 with a roll call vote, Russ-aye, Dina-aye and Jim-aye to approve

                 the final pay request from Vector Construction for $54,872.

 

Rocky Gordon reported the CW Structural was updating the report on the repairs of the Galleria                                                                            Ramp and should have it completed by the next meeting.

 

Rocky Gordon reported that the specs are done on the Parkade sump tank. The bid opening will                                                                                  be October 5, 2017 at 2:00 PM.

 

Rocky Gordon reported the lease extensions with Sanford and White House Café are complete.

　

ADJOURNMENT

There being no further business, Chairman Jim Christianson declared the Bismarck Municipal                                                                               Parking Authority adjourned at 9:26 A.M. and will meet again in regular session October 12,                                                                                       2017.
