                            BISMARCK MUNICIPAL PARKING AUTHORITY

                                          MEETING MINUTES

                                           AUGUST 11 , 2022

 

 

The Bismarck Municipal Parking Authority met in regular session on the above date at 9:00 A.M. in the Tom Baker Room, Bismarck, North Dakota. Chairman Jim Christianson presiding.

 

Members present: Jim Christianson, Jake Axtman, Todd Kovash, and Kyle Holwagner

 

Members absent: NONE

 

Staff Members: Jeremy Petron, Sue Schaff, Dennis Torgerson, Corey Voegele,

                       Daniel Nairn

Others present: Commissioner Mark Splonskowski, Kate Herzog, Jannelle Combs

 

MINUTES

Chairman Jim Christianson called for consideration of the minutes of the July 14, 2022 meeting.

 

     MOTION: A motion was made by Kyle Holwagner, seconded by Todd Kovash and

                    unanimously approved by all members present that the minutes the

                    July 14, 2022 meeting be approved.

 

REVIEW OF FINANCIAL STATEMENTS

     MOTION: A motion was made by Todd Kovash, seconded by Jake Axtman

with a roll call vote, Kyle-aye, Todd-aye, Jake-aye and Jim-aye

to approve the July financials.

 

UPDATE FOR CAPITAL PROJECT: RAMPS BAR CODE TICKET DISPENSERS AND SCANNERS

  - Jeremy Petron reported that the new revised bid for the bar code ticket dispensers and

    scanners from Amano McGann is $129,230.

 

OTHER BUSINESS

- Daniel Nairn reported that the RFP for the 5^th & Thayer lot was unsuccessful.

- Consensus of the Board is to get proposals for a second pay station at the 6^th &

    Thayer Ramp.

 

ADJOURNMENT

-  There being no further business, Chairman Jim Christianson declared the Bismarck

   Municipal Parking Authority adjourned at 9:13 A.M. and will meet again on

   September 8, 2022.
