MEETING MINUTES
AUGUST 8, 2019
The Bismarck Municipal Parking Authority met in regular session on the above date at 9:00 A.M. in the David J Blackstead meeting room in the City-County Building, 221 N 5th St., Bismarck, North Dakota. Chairman Jim Christianson presided.
Members present: Jim Christianson, Brian Peterson and Kyle
Holwagner
Members absent: Russ Kadlec and Dina Baird
Staff Members: Rocky Gordon, Sue Schaff, Dennis Torgerson,
Kyle Snyder, Daniel Nairn
Others present: Jason Tomaneck, Kate Herzog, Madison
Cermack and Ashley Hinas
MINUTES
Chairman Jim Christianson called for consideration of the minutes of the July11, 2019 meeting.
MOTION A motion was made by Brian Peterson, seconded by Kyle Holwagner
and unanimously approved by all members present that the minutes
of the July 11, 2019 meeting be approved.
REVIEW OF FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
MOTION: A motion was made by Brian Peterson, seconded by Kyle Holwagner
with a roll call vote, Kyle-aye, Brian-aye and Jim-aye to approve the
July financial statement.
SALE OF SOUTH GALLERIA LOT
Jason Tomaneck reported that the proceeds from the sale of the South Galleria lot went into the Commercial Property Fund. The loan balance for the Bismarck Parking Authority will be zero.
OTHER BUSINESS
SANFORD CONSTRUCTION
Rocky Gordon reported that he has not had any response from Sanford on the air handling unit.
WHITE HOUSE CAFÉ
Consensus of the Board is to allow a sublease for the White House Café.
BNC USE OF LOT ON SEPTEMBER 5, 2019
Consensus of the Board is to allow BNC to use the lot for their event on September 5, 2019.
REVIEW PAY REQUEST
MOTION: A motion was made by Kyle Holwagner, seconded by Brian Peterson
with a roll call vote, Kyle-aye, Brian-aye and Jim-aye to approve the
pay request from Vector Construction for the Galleria repairs in the
amount of $171,564.50.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Chairman Jim Christianson declared the Bismarck Municipal Parking Authority adjourned at 9:30 A.M. and will meet again in regular session September 12, 2019.
