MEETING MINUTES
DECEMBER 11, 2014
The Bismarck Municipal Parking Authority met in regular session on the above date at 9:00 A.M.
in the David J Blackstead meeting room in the City-County Building, 221 N 5th St., Bismarck, North Dakota.
Chairman Jim Christianson presided.
Members present: Jim Christianson, Russ Kadlec and Brian Peterson

Members absent: Claire Anne Holmberg and Dina Baird
Staff Members: Rocky Gordon, Sue Schaff, and Dennis Torgerson

MINUTES
Chairman Jim Christianson called for consideration of the minutes of the November 13, 2014 meeting.
MOTION A motion was made by Brian Peterson, seconded by Russ Kadlec
and unanimously approved by all members present that the minutes of the
November 13, 2014 meeting be approved.
REVIEW OF FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
MOTION: A motion was made by Russ Kadlec, seconded by Brian Peterson
with a roll call vote, Russ-aye, Brian-aye, and Jim-aye to approve
the November financial statement.
VIP Valet Service
Rocky Gordon reported that the request has been postponed.
DISCUSS PARKADE MAIN FLOOR SPACE
MOTION: A motion was made by Brian Peterson, seconded by Russ Kadlec
with a roll call vote, Russ-aye, Brian-aye and Jim-aye to authorize
Rocky to continue the lease negotiation and finalize a lease with
a 15% variance in terms from the current proposal.
REVIEW SIXTH STREET RAMP OPERATIONS
Dennis Torgerson reported that event parking is being used and will continue through Christmas.
UPDATES ON PROJECTS IN PROGRESS
Skywalk Repair-Rocky Gordon reported that the majority of the repairs are complete. The rest will be
completed in the Spring.
Parkade Shoring—Rocky Gordon reported that the beams have arrived.
OTHER BUSINESS
REVIEW PAY REQUESTS
MOTION: A motion was made by Brian Peterson, seconded by Russ Kadlec
with a roll call vote, Russ-aye, Brian-aye, and Jim-aye to approve
the partial pay requests for the boiler replacement and the Sixth Street cameras.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Chairman Jim Christianson declared the Bismarck Municipal Parking
Authority adjourned at 9:27 A.M. and will meet again in regular session January 8, 2015.
