BISMARCK MUNICIPAL PARKING AUTHORITY

MEETING MINUTES

DECEMBER 12, 2024

 

 

The Bismarck Municipal Parking Authority met in regular session on the above date at 9:00 A.M. in the Tom Baker Room, Bismarck, North Dakota. Chairman Jim Christianson presiding.

 

Members present: Jim Christianson, Todd Kovash, Josh Keller and Kyle Holwagner

Members absent: Jake Axtman

Staff Members: Jeremy Petron, Sue Schaff, Dennis Torgerson Corey Voegele, Isak Johnson

Others present: Mayor Mike Schmitz, Kate Herzog, Caroline Crary and Hannah Haynes

 

MINUTES

Chairman Jim Christianson called for consideration of the minutes of the November 14, 2024 meeting.

MOTION: A motion was made by Kyle Holwagner, seconded by Todd Kovash and unanimously approved

   by all members present that the minutes of the November 14, 2024 meeting be approved.

 

 

REVIEW OF FINANCIAL STATEMENTS

MOTION: A motion was made by Josh Keller, seconded by Todd Kovash with a roll call vote, Josh-aye,

                    Kyle-aye, Todd-aye, and Jim-aye to approve the November financials.

 

 

DAKOTA MEDICAL FOUNDATION’S REQUEST FOR LIGHTING AND SIGNAGE FOR GIVING HEARTS DAY

MOTION: A motion was made by Todd Kovash, seconded by Kyle Holwagner with a roll call vote, Josh-aye,

                    Kyle-aye, Todd-aye and Jim-aye to approved the request to light the Parkade ramp with red light

                    strands from February 1st to February 14, 2025 for Giving Hearts Day.  There are also banners that

                    will be placed on the 3rd Street Ramp.

 

PARKING AUTHORITY BOARD MEMBER TERM

Isak Johnson reported that there were 2 applications, but they did not meet the criteria. Applications are still being

  accepted.

 

OTHER BUSINESS

 

PAY REQUESTS

MOTION: A motion was made by Todd Kovash, seconded by Kyle Holwagner with a roll call vote, Josh-aye,

                    Kyle-aye, Todd-aye and Jim-aye to approved the pay requests from CW Structural and Walker

                    Consultants.

 

ADJOURNMENT

There being no further business, Chairman Jim Christianson declared the Bismarck Municipal Parking Authority adjourned at 9:13 A.M. and will meet again January 9, 2025.
