MEETING MINUTES
FEBRUARY 13, 2020
The Bismarck Municipal Parking Authority met in regular session on the above date at 9:00 A.M. in the David J Blackstead meeting room in the City-County Building, 221 N 5th St., Bismarck, North Dakota. Chairman Jim Christianson presided.

MINUTES
Chairman Jim Christianson called for consideration of the minutes of the January 9, 2020 meeting.
MOTION A motion was made by Brian Peterson, seconded by Russ Kadlec
and unanimously approved by all members present that the minutes
of the January 9, 2020 meeting be approved.
REVIEW OF FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
MOTION: A motion was made by Brian Peterson, seconded by Kyle Holwagner
with a roll call vote, Kyle-aye, Russ-aye, Dina-aye, Brian-aye and
Jim-aye to approve the January financial statement.
UPDATE ON PARKADE REPAIR PROJECT
Rocky Gordon reported the shoring is in place and the repairs are going well.
UPDATE ON TECHNOLOGY UPGRADES
Rocky Gordon reported that the Technology Committee met and charted a course for upgrades that included looking at other options with other vendors.
REVIEW REMAINING PARKING RATES
Review City rate at Sixth & Thayer—Jason Tomanek informed the Board that the rate will be reviewed in June 2020 for the 2021 Budget.
REVIEW GALLERIA RADISSON RATE
Tabled to a future meeting.
REVIEW THIRD & MAIN AFTER HOUR PARKING USAGE
MOTION: A motion was made by Dina Baird, seconded by Russ Kadlec
with a roll call vote, Kyle-aye, Russ-aye, Dina-aye, Brian-aye
and Jim-aye to note the Board reviewed the usage and decided
to leave the rate unchanged.
OTHER BUSINESS
Review Pay Requests
MOTION: A motion was made by Dina Baird, seconded by Kyle Holwagner
with a roll call vote, Kyle-aye, Russ-aye, Dina-aye, Brian-aye and
Jim-aye to approve the pay request from Vector Construction for
$77,911.40.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Chairman Jim Christianson declared the Bismarck Municipal Parking Authority adjourned at 9:50 A.M. and will meet again in regular session March 12, 2020.
