MEETING MINUTES
JULY 9, 2020
The Bismarck Municipal Parking Authority met in regular session on the above date at 9:00 A.M. in the Tom Baker Room and via zoom, Bismarck, North Dakota. Chairman Jim Christianson presided.
Members present: Jim Christianson, Brian Peterson, Kyle Holwagner
Russ Kadlec and Dina Baird via zoom.
Members absent: None
Staff Members: Rocky Gordon, Jeremy Petron, Sue Schaff,
Dennis Torgerson, Corey Voegele, Daniel Nairn
Others present: Jannelle Combs, Dawn Kopp, Madison Cermak and
others that may have been online.
MINUTES
Chairman Jim Christianson called for consideration of the minutes of the June 11, 2020 meeting.
MOTION A motion was made by Dina Baird, seconded by Kyle Holwagner
and unanimously approved by all members present that the minutes
of the June 11, 2020 meeting be approved.
REVIEW OF FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
MOTION: A motion was made by Brian Peterson, seconded by Kyle Holwagner
with a roll call vote, Kyle-aye, Russ-aye, Brian-aye, Dina-aye and
Jim-aye to approve the June Financials.
UPDATE ON PARKADE REPAIR PROJECT
Jeremy Petron reported that the Parkade repair project is targeted to be completed between the end of July and beginning of August.
UPDATE FROM TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE
Dina Baird reported that the proposal from Amano McGann was received. General discussion was held to continue and get a more detailed proposal with an option list.
The Paystation at the 6th & Thayer ramp has been installed.
PARKADE ROOF REPLACEMENT BID OPENING
Jeremy Petron reported that Tecta started on the roof replacement. It will take 10 to 14 days for completion depending upon the weather.
OTHER BUSINESS
Review Pay Requests and funds transfer
MOTION: A motion was made by Brian Peterson, seconded by Russ Kadlec
with a roll call vote, Dina-aye, Kyle-aye, Russ-aye, Brian-aye and
Jim-aye to approve the pay requests from Vector Construction,
CW Stuctural and Capital City Construction for a total amount
of $101,867.82.
The motion also approved for the transfer of $100,000 in funds
from the city reserve account.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Chairman Jim Christianson declared the Bismarck Municipal Parking Authority adjourned at 9:30 A.M. and will meet again in regular session August 13, 2020.
