BISMARCK MUNICIPAL PARKING AUTHORITY

MEETING MINUTES

JUNE 8, 2023

 

 

The Bismarck Municipal Parking Authority met in regular session on the above date at 9:00 A.M. in the Tom Baker Room, Bismarck, North Dakota. Chairman Jim Christianson presiding.

 

Members present: Jim Christianson, Josh Keller, Todd Kovash

Members absent: Jake Axtman and Kyle Holwagner

Staff Members: Jeremy Petron, Sue Schaff, Corey Voegele, Dennis Torgerson and Daniel Nairn

Others present: Jannelle Combs and Kate Herzog

 

MINUTES

 

Chairman Jim Christianson called for consideration of the minutes of the May 11, 2023 meeting.

 

MOTION: A motion was made by Josh Keller, seconded by Todd Kovash and unanimously

              approved by all members present that the minutes of the May 11, 2023 meeting

              be approved.

 

 

REVIEW OF FINANCIAL STATEMENTS

 

MOTION: A motion was made by Todd Kovash, seconded by Josh Keller with

               a roll call vote, Josh-aye, Todd-aye, and Jim-aye to approve the May

              financials.

 

 

BOARD REVIEW OF PARKING AUTHORITY MANAGEMENT RFQ DRAFT

-  Daniel Nairn reported that the Parking Authority Management RFQ will be published July 1, 2023 with proposals due July 31, 2023.

 

MOTION: A motion was made by Tood Koavash, seconded by Josh Keller with a

              roll call vote, Josh-aye, Todd-aye and Jim-aye to approve the Parking

              Authority Management RFQ prepared by the City.

 

 

PROGRESS UPDATE ON PARKADE REPAIRS PROJECT

- Jeremy Petron reported that Vector Construction will start the project in mid July. The estimated completion period is roughly 3 weeks.

There being no further business, Chairman Jim Christianson declared the Bismarck Municipal Parking Authority adjourned at 9:09 A.M. and will meet again on July 13, 2023.
