MEETING MINUTES
MAY 13, 2021
The Bismarck Municipal Parking Authority met in regular session on the above date at 9:00
A.M. in the Tom Baker Room and via zoom, Bismarck, North Dakota. Chairman Jim
Christianson presided via phone.
Members present: Jim Christianson, Todd Kovash, Brian Peterson, Jake Axtman
and Kyle Holwagner
Members absent: None
Staff Members: Jeremy Petron, Sue Schaff, Dennis Torgerson, Corey Voegele,
Daniiel Narn
Others present: Jannelle Combs,Kate Herzog via zoom and others that may
have been online.
MINUTES
Chairman Jim Christianson called for consideration of the minutes of the April 8, 2021
meeting.
MOTION: A motion was made by Brian Peterson, seconded by Kyle Holwagner
and unanimously approved by all members present that the minutes of
the April 8, 2021 meeting be approved.
REVIEW OF FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
MOTION: A motion was made by Todd Kovash, seconded by Jake Axtman with a
roll call vote, Brian-aye, Kyle-aye, Todd-aye, Jake-aye, and Jim-aye to
approve the April financials.
UPDATE FOR PARKADE GREEN LEVEL REPAIRS OPTIONS
MOTION: A motion was made by Todd Kovash, seconded by Brian Peterson with a
roll call vote, Brian-aye, Kyle-aye, Todd-aye, Jake-aye and Jim-aye to
prepare the RFP for the green level repairs.
CONSIDER RFP TIMELINE FOR PURCHASE OF SKID STEER AND SWEEPER
MACHINE
MOTION: A motion was made by Brian Peterson, seconded by Todd Kovash with
a roll call vote, Brian-aye, Kyle-aye, Todd-aye, Jake-aye and Jim-aye to
get 3 bids to make the decision for the purchase of a Skid Steer and
Sweeper machine.
CONSIDER PLAN FOR HVAC VAV CONTROLS REPLACEMENT AT PARKADE 2ND
FLOORCOMMERCIAL SPACES
MOTION: A motion was made by Kyle Holwagner, seconded by Brian Peterson with
a roll call vote, Brian-aye, Kyle-aye, Todd-aye, Jake-aye and Jim-aye to
replace the HVAC VAV Controls with Energy Tech at an estimated cost
of $39,140.00
OTHER BUSINESS
Review Pay Requests: Consensus of the Board was to pay all pay requests
presented.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Chairman Jim Christianson declared the Bismarck
Municipal Parking Authority adjourned at 9:45 A.M. and will meet again in regular
session June 10, 2021.
