BISMARCK MUNICIPAL PARKING AUTHORITY

MEETING MINUTES

MAY 8, 2025

 

 

The Bismarck Municipal Parking Authority met in regular session on the above date at 9:00 A.M. in the Tom Baker Room, Bismarck, North Dakota. Chairman Jim Christianson presiding.

 

Members present: Jim Christianson, Jake Axtman, Josh Keller, Todd Kovash, and Jon Burger

Members absent: None

Staff Members: Jeremy Petron, Sue Schaff, Dennis Torgerson Corey Voegele, Isak Johnson

Others present: Mayor Mike Schmitz and Kate Herzog

 

MINUTES

 

- Chairman Jim Christianson called for consideration of the minutes of the April 10, 2025 meeting.

 

     MOTION: A motion was made by Todd Kovash , seconded by Jake Axtman and unanimously approved by

                      all members present that the minutes of the April 10, 2025 meeting be approved.

 

 

REVIEW OF FINANCIAL STATEMENTS

 

     MOTION: A motion was made by Josh Keller, seconded by Jon Burger with a roll call vote, Jon-aye, Josh-aye,

                      Todd-aye, Jake-aye and Jim-aye to approve the April financials.

 

 

UPDATE ON PARKADE REPAIRS TIMELINE

- Jeremy Petron reported that the preconstruction meeting is May 20, 2025. Work is to begin the first week of June

   with completion of mid-August.

 

REVIEW BIDS FOR GENERAL NEW RAMP PICTURE RENDERINGS

 

     MOTION: A motion was made by Todd Kovash, seconded by Jon Burgerwith a roll call vote, Jon-aye, Josh-aye,

                      Todd-aye, Jake-aye and Jim-aye to authorize management to contact the architectural consultants that

                      had responded with proposals and offer them $1500 do 2 rendering concepts for a future new ramp.

ADJOURNMENT

There being no further business, Chairman Jim Christianson declared the Bismarck Municipal Parking Authority adjourned at 9:27 A.M. and will meet again June 12 2025.
