BISMARCK MUNICIPAL PARKING AUTHORITY

MEETING MINUTES

OCTOBER 13, 2016

 

The Bismarck Municipal Parking Authority met in regular session on the above date at                                                                                                                  9:00 A.M. in the David J Blackstead meeting room in the City-County Building, 221 N 5th St.,                                                                                                 Bismarck, North Dakota. Chairman Jim Christianson presided.

 

Members present: Jim Christianson, Claire Anne Holmberg, Dina

                           Baird, Brian Peterson and Russ Kadlec

Members absent: None

Staff Members: Rocky Gordon, Sue Schaff, Dennis Torgerson

                       Kyle Snyder, Daniel Naim, Will Hutchings

Others present: Kate Herzog, Madison Cermak, Commissioner

                        Shawn Oban, David Witham and LeAnn Eckroth

 

MINUTES

Chairman Jim Christianson called for consideration of the minutes of the September 8, 2016

meeting.

 

MOTION A motion was made by Claire Anne Holmberg, seconded by Brian

            Peterson and unanimously approved by all members present that

            the minutes of the September 8, 2016 meeting be approved.

 

REVIEW OF FINANCIAL STATEMENTS

MOTION: A motion was made by Brian Peterson, seconded by Claire Anne

              Holmberg with a roll call vote, Russ-aye, Claire Anne-aye, Dina-aye,

              Brian-aye and Jim-aye to approve the September financial statement.

 

REPORT ON PARKADE PROJECT

Rocky Gordon reported CW Structural has completed the repair plan. We are waiting for pricing                                                                                                        from Vector.

　

GALLERIA SHORING BUYOUT

MOTION: A motion was made by Claire Anne Holmberg, seconded by Brian

              Peterson with a roll call vote, Russ-aye, Claire Anne-aye, Dina-aye,

              Brian-aye and Jim-aye to approve purchasing the shoring at the

              Galleria Ramp subject to City Commission approval.

 

OTHER BUSINESS

 

SIXTH STREET ROOFTOP PARKING

MOTION: A motion was made by Brian Peterson, seconded by Claire Anne

              Holmberg with a roll call vote, Russ-aye, Claire Anne-aye, Dina-aye

              Brian-aye and Jim-aye to approve the installation of a reader on the

              rooftop of the Sixth Street Ramp. Rooftop parking pricing in the amount

              of $32.00 will be implemented.

 

PAY REQUESTS

MOTION: A motion was made by Dina Baird, seconded by Brian Peterson

              with a roll call vote, Russ-aye, Claire Anne-aye, Dina-aye,

              Brian-aye, and Jim-aye to approve the pay request from Bergquist

              Brothers for the work on the exterior of the Parkade.

 

ADJOURNMENT

There being no further business, Chairman Jim Christianson declared the Bismarck Municipal                                                                                                        Parking Authority adjourned at 9:45 A.M. and will meet again in regular session November 10,                                                                                                       2016.
