MEETING MINUTES
OCTOBER 14, 2021
The Bismarck Municipal Parking Authority met in regular session on the above date at 9:00
A.M. in the Tom Baker Room, Bismarck, North Dakota. Chairman Jim Christianson
presiding.
Members present: Jim Christianson, Brian Peterson, Todd Kovash, Jake Axtman and
Kyle Holwagner by phone call.
Members absent: None
Staff Members: Jeremy Petron, Sue Schaff, Dennis Torgerson. Corey Voegle and
Daniel Nairn
Others present: Jannelle Combs
MINUTES
Chairman Jim Christianson called for consideration of the minutes of the September 9,
2021 meeting.
MOTION: A motion was made by Brian Peterson, seconded by Jake Axtman and
unanimously approved by all members present that the minutes of the
September 9, 2021 meeting be approved.
REVIEW OF FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
MOTION: A motion was made by Todd Kovash, seconded by Brian Peterson
with a roll call vote, Brian-aye, Todd-aye, Jake-aye, Kyle-aye and
Jim-aye to approve the September financials.
PARKADE GREEN LEVEL REPAIRS PROJECT STATUS UPDATE
Jeremy Petron reported that the project had some minor delays and should be
completed early next week.
BISMARCK PARKING AUTHORITY MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT
MOTION: A motion was made by Jake Axtman, seconded by Kyle Holwagner
with a roll call vote, Brian-aye, Kyle-aye, Todd-aye, Jake-aye and
Jim-aye to approve the exercise of the option for the Rocky Gordon
and Company renewal of their management contract for the year
OTHER BUSINESS
PAY REQUEST
MOTION: A motion was made by Jake Axtman, seconded by Todd Kovash with
a roll call vote, Brian-aye, Kyle-aye, Todd-aye, Jake-aye and Jim-aye
to approve the pay request from Vector Construction in the amount of
$101,362.
NILFISK SWEEPER MACHINE DELAY
Jeremy Petron reported that delivery of the Nilfisk sweeper has been delayed until
January 2022, due to manufacturing supply chain issues.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Chairman Jim Christianson declared the Bismarck
Municipal Parking Authority adjourned at 9:15 A.M. and will meet again on
November 18, 2021.
