BISMARCK MUNICIPAL PARKING AUTHORITY MEETING MINUTES

SEPTEMBER 11, 2025

 

 

The Bismarck Municipal Parking Authority met in regular session on the above date at 9:00 A.M. in the Tom Baker Room, Bismarck, North Dakota. Chairman Jim Christianson presiding.

 

Members present: Jim Christianson, Josh Keller, Todd Kovash and Jon Burger

Members absent: Jake Axtman

Staff Members: Jeremy Petron, Sue Schaff, Corey Voegele, and Daniel Nairn

Others present: None

 

ROLL CALL VOTE HELD—JON, JOSH, TODD & JIM

 

MINUTES

- Chairman Jim Christianson called for consideration of the minutes of the August 14, 2025 meeting.

 

    MOTION: A motion was made by Josh Keller, seconded by Todd Kovash and unanimously approved

                       by all members present that the minutes of the August 14, 2025 meeting be approved.

 

 

REVIEW OF FINANCIAL STATEMENTS

 

     MOTION: A motion was made by Josh Keller, seconded by Jon Burger and unanimously approved

                       by all members present to approve the August financials.

 

STATUS UPDATE ON PARKADE REPAIRS PROJECT

- Jeremy Petron reported that the Parkade Repair project is completed.

 

REVIEW MONTHLY PARKING RATES

- General Discussion was held and tabled until next meeting

 

OTHER BUSINESS

- Pay Requests from Restoration Systems, Inc. for $263,251.13; Walker Consultants for $10,872.04;

  and CW Structural for $20.175.00.

 

     MOTION: A motion was made by Jon Burger, seconded by Todd Kovash, and unanimously approved

                       by all members present to approve the pay requests.

 

ADJOURNMENT

- There being no further business, Chairman Jim Christianson declared the Bismarck Municipal Parking

   Authority adjourned at 9:16 A.M. and will meet again at the next regular scheduled meeting on October 9, 2025.
