BISMARCK MUNICIPAL PARKING AUTHORITY
MEETING MINUTES
SEPTEMBER 9, 2021
The Bismarck Municipal Parking Authority met in regular session on the above date at 9:00
A.M. in the Tom Baker Room, Bismarck, North Dakota. Chairman Jim Christianson
presiding.
Members present: Jim Christianson, Brian Peterson, Todd Kovash, and Jake Axtman
Members absent: Kyle Holwagner
Staff Members: Jeremy Petron, Sue Schaff, Corey Voegle, Daniel Nairn
Others present: Jannelle Combs, Kate Herzog and Deidre Hughes
MINUTES
Chairman Jim Christianson called for consideration of the minutes of the August 12, 2021 meeting.
MOTION: A motion was made by Jake Axtman, seconded by Todd Kovash and
unanimously approved by all members present that the minutes the
August 12, 2021 meeting be approved.
REVIEW OF FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
MOTION: A motion was made by Brian Peterson, seconded by Todd Kovash with a
roll call vote, Brian-aye, Todd-aye, Jake-aye, and Jim-aye to approve the
August financials.
PARKADE GREEN LEVEL REPAIRS PROJECT STATUS
Jeremy Petron reported that the project is going along well with a completion
date at the end of September.
BIS-MAN TRANSIT PRESENTATION
Deidre Hughes presented an introduction presentation of their services. The Board’s
consensus if to assist in their services with possible signage in the Parkade Building.
OTHER BUSINESS
The Board is in agreement with the Downtowner’s Association and will meet with
Kate Herzog and others to identify potential sites for future parking ramp locations.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Chairman Jim Christianson declared the Bismarck
Municipal Parking Authority adjourned at 9:27 A.M. and will meet again in regular
session October 14, 2021.
