Increase in parking rates effective June 1, 2018

At the November Parking Authority meeting, the board members voted to raise the rates for leased parking. Here are the new rates:
Third & Main Street
Current Rates: Effective June 1, 2018:
Covered parking $56.00 $58.00
Rooftop parking $32.00 $34.00
Reserved parking $67.00 $69.00
Alley parking $62.00 $64.00
Parkade: located on 6th & Broadway Avenue
Current Rates: Effective June 1, 2018:
Covered parking $56.00 $58.00
Rooftop parking $32.00 $34.00
Galleria: located on 7th & Broadway Avenue
Current Rates: Effective Jume 1, 2018:
Covered parking $56.00 $58.00
6th & Thayer Ramp
Current Rates: Effective June 1, 2018:
$56.00 $58.00
3rd & Rosser surface lot
Current Rates: Effective June 1, 2018:

5th & Thayer surface lot
Current Rates: Effective June 1, 2018:

The last rate increase was June 1, 2018. This adjustment in rates is necessary at this time to cover increasing operating costs on all the properties that the parking authority currently oversees.
