BISMARCK MUNICIPAL PARKING AUTHORITY

MEETING MINUTES

JUNE 11, 2026

 

 

The Bismarck Municipal Parking Authority met in regular session on the above date at 9:00 A.M. in the Tom Baker Room, Bismarck, North Dakota. Chairman Jim Christianson presiding.

 

Members present: Jim Christianson, Jon Burger, Todd Kovash, Jake Axtman and Trevor Vannett

Members absent: None

Staff Members: Jeremy Petron, Sue Schaff, Dennis Torgerson Corey Voegele and Sara Petersen

Others present: Mayor Mike Schmitz, Kate Herzog, Derek Kost, and Cassidy Johnston

 

 

PUBLIC COMMENT---No Public Comment

 

MINUTES

Chairman Jim Christianson called for consideration of the minutes of the May 14, 2026 meeting.

     MOTION: A motion was made by Todd Kovash, seconded by Jake Axtman and unanimously approved by all

                       members present that the minutes of the May 14, 2026 meeting be approved.

 

REVIEW FINANCIAL STATEMENTS

     MOTION: A motion was made by Jon Burger, seconded by Trevor Vannett with a roll call vote, Trevor-aye,

                       Jon-aye, Todd-aye, Jake-aye, and Jim-aye to approve the May financials.

 

RAMPS GENERAL CONDITION ASSESSMENT-CW STRUCTURAL (DEREK KOST)

Kost reported on the inspection of the Ramps and the recommendations. He will prepare an Engineer’s Estimate

Proposal for the repairs.

ADJOURNMENT

There being no further business, Chairman Jim Christianson declared the Bismarck Municipal Parking Authority adjourned at 9:27 A.M. and will meet again at the next regular scheduled meeting on July 9, 2026.
