MEETING MINUTES
OCTOBER 8, 2015
The Bismarck Municipal Parking Authority met in regular session on the above date at 9:00 A.M. in the David J Blackstead meeting room in the City-County Building, 221 N 5th St., Bismarck, North Dakota. Chairman Jim Christianson presided.

MINUTES
Chairman Jim Christianson called for consideration of the minutes of the September 10, 2015
meeting.
MOTION A motion was made by Brian Peterson, seconded by Dina Baird
and unanimously approved by all members present that the
minutes of the September 10, 2015 meeting be approved.
REVIEW OF FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
MOTION: A motion was made by Brian Peterson, seconded by Russ Kadlec
with a roll call vote, Russ-aye, Dina-aye, Brian-aye, and Jim-aye
to approve the September financial statement.
REVIEW PARKING RATES
MOTION A motion was made by Brian Peterson, seconded by Dina
Baird with a roll call vote, Russ-aye, Dina-aye, Brian-aye,
and Jim-aye to approve the following rate changes effective
January 1, 2016.
Radisson $260 Per Day
Monthly Parking $56.00
Surface Lot Monthly Parking $56.00
Rooftop Monthly Parking $32.00
Surface Lot Third & Main $62.00
Reserved- Third & Main $67.00
Hourly/Daily/Park Smart & Day Pass remain the same
BNC Back Lot-Third & Main $59.00
Nightly Rate $22.00
PURCHASE OF NEW PAN AND TILT CAMERA
MOTION A motion was made by Brian Peterson, seconded by Russ
Kadlec with a roll call vote, Russ-aye, Dina-aye, Brian-aye,
and Jim-aye to approve the purchase of a new pan & tilt
camera for the Third & Main Ramp.
OTHER BUSINES
Update on Galleria Repair Project.
Chairman Christianson reported that things are still moving forward. It was the consensus of the Board to continue to hold on the repair project.
Update on Parkade entry ramp project.
Rocky Gordon reported that work was started on the entry ramp.
Update on Pinch & Pour Parkade tenant
Rocky Gordon reported that Pinch & Pour is intending to honor their lease and complete the project.
Update-Annual Inspection –Parkade Ramp
Rocky Gordon reported that CW Structural has completed the annual inspection of the Parkade Ramp. Copies were distributed to the Board members. There are 2 areas of concern. Rocky was asked to get an estimate of the cost to explore how involved the repairs will be and report back.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Chairman Jim Christianson declared the Bismarck Municipal Parking Authority adjourned at 10:16 A.M. and will meet again in regular session November 12, 2015.
